Concrete Canvas: Reimagined looks back at Chelmsford's Street Art History
We're delighted to be supporting Concrete Canvas Project Manager, Candy Joyce, in her takeover of the arch at Thirst Drinks Syndicate!
Curated by Candy, (
@flippingzombies ), the display showcases a selection of photographs and rare ephemera from the legendary Gas Works near Wharf Road, which became the home of graffiti in Essex, featuring the region's Street Art from the 80s until late 2015, when the site was redeveloped.
This exhibition is a preview of a much larger retrospective we’re planning together. So, if you'd like to contribute, such as photos, stories, or related memorabilia, please enter your details via the QR code within the display.
