🎨 Check out this amazing Euthoric mural by Flipping Zombies and Concrete Canvas! As part of the promo for my new single “Thurma”, Candy Joyce aka @flippingzombies was very kind in offering to paint a mural in Chelmsford that would be used as the new single artwork 🤘 Over the course of two days I ticked spray painting off my bucket list and helped contribute to one of the most amazing pieces of art I’ve ever seen! It was a huge honour to work alongside Candy and the whole @concretecanvaschelmsford crew to create this as well as the stunning official music video (filmed by the powerful Limerence Media) celebrating all the amazing art dotted around our city. On the subject of celebrations, @concretecanvaschelmsford are hosting a street party today in Bond Street to celebrate all their hard work over the last few weeks creating even more outstanding murals here in Chelmsford. Concrete Canvas: Reimagined looks back at Chelmsford's Street Art History We're delighted to be supporting Concrete Canvas Project Manager, Candy Joyce, in her takeover of the arch at Thirst Drinks Syndicate! Curated by Candy, (@flippingzombies ), the display showcases a selection of photographs and rare ephemera from the legendary Gas Works near Wharf Road, which became the home of graffiti in Essex, featuring the region's Street Art from the 80s until late 2015, when the site was redeveloped. This exhibition is a preview of a much larger retrospective we’re planning together. 🎨 Brand new Euthoric mural over at Riverside! With massive thanks to the powerful @flippingzombies and @concretecanvaschelmsford team, I’ve been incredibly priveledged to have been involved in the creation of a wonderful new mural in Chelmsford in service to my next single “Thurma”, out next month on April 15th. It’s been really cool getting to use spray paints for the first time and wonderful catching up with various artists who help make this amazing city stand out with their beautiful art in and around the Chelmsford area. Been back to the Environment Agency building at Riverside Retail Park to paint some spring bunnies. 🐇 Thanks to Dr Anna for giving the go-ahead. The rabbits came out of thinking about movement, especially Muybridge and those early stop-action studies. I hadn’t picked up a can since we painted the troll here in December, so it felt really good to get back into it, especially painting next to the river Chelmer which was so energetic and noisy. The background was mostly improvised, using up random odds and ends. I usually over-plan everything, so it was nice to loosen the grip a bit.
