Alex Jakimczuk (
@flexpanther ) is a musician, audio-visual technician, VJ, recording engineer, and event organizer with over 20 years of history in the Ottawa music scene. Serving as the lead technician for
@babylonnightclub , Alex has worked with the likes
@cafedekcuf ,
@debaser__ ,
@saw_centre , and more. He is the drummer for Ottawa based post-rock band
@malinovka.666 and is the live VJ for
@hug.mosh , providing visuals at events such as Pique and
@sidebysidewknd . He operates the recording studio
@uppercutstudios and records, mixes, and masters a number of local Ottawa projects. Alex will be providing visuals for our launch party, as part of an augmented visual and lighting installation at
@saw_centre 🚀

The event will be raising funds to support a club member Noor and her family of 12 currently displaced in Northern Gaza. Local artist
@blood__vine will be selling merch and tabling to further raise funds for Noor and you can read about the campaign to support her in our bio!
This event is held at
@saw_centre , an accessible venue found at 67 Nicholas street. Advance and door tickets are $10 and the event is 19+.
