To someone who has never heard of Flexible Visual Systems, it is unclear what they are or do. Why should one question old design methods and processes and approach design systemically? I summed up the key benefits of FVS in this short article: /resources/benefits-of-fvs/

As every year, I have been interviewing a couple of students who attended my Type Systems block seminar at the @graphic.elisava Master. As every year, I feel bad not being able to include more students, because they have all been absolutely brilliant. ❤️ Check out the interviews here: /resources/interviewelisava2026/

«I remember something an editor told us years ago at the Frankfurt Book Fair. We went there because we liked books and wanted to design them. While talking, he said: ‹Publishers don’t need designers. They need authors.› With that sentence, we understood that we had to change our perspective—from designers as service providers to designers as editors.» As TwoPoints.Net we have been publishing many books in the last 20 years. It all started with this experience at the Frankfurt Book Fair. In this conversation with my long-time colleague and friend Elio Salichs, we talk about the pain and joy of making books: /resources/eliosalichs/

A published book opens doors you didn't even know were there: teaching invitations, international talks, high-value clients. And it all starts with getting that idea out of your head and onto paper. This 6-week live course with @eliosalichs from @twopointsnet shows you the other side of books. Not the design, but the making: how to pitch it, sign contracts, and get it done. Real examples, real contracts, real talk about what works (and what doesn’t). Got a book idea sitting in your head rent-free? Now’s the time to make it! Isn’t this absolutely beautiful? Stunning systems by @ilpleut.studio (@lolalevient and @airmowmusic ). "This project is presented as an extension of the work ‘Bâton de pluies’. Rain wrote in lines. Snow writes in fragments. It is the same protocol, and a different disorder. Snow disrupts the score, multiplies triggers, and gives rise to a denser, more unstable music. On a graphic grid, snowflakes activate cells, translated into notes and musical textures by a generative software. The result is a living score, in which the randomness of snowfall composes and dictates the rhythm of listening."
