Across a quiet landscape, the Hiking boots bring out different textures. Packed snow turns into rhythm, fresh powder softens everything, and icy crusts crack into percussive sounds. It becomes a living composition shaped by weight, temperature, and terrain.
A music written in motion.
This project explores the sound of the Hiking Boots, connecting form and sound through snowy landscapes and electronic music.

In Season I: Journey Through Liminality — Act I: Fracture — the world of the 235 Set unfolds through Morse-coded light and sound. Structure becomes pulse. Signal becomes presence. What is worn on the skin extends into vision, resonance, and movement.
Created in collaboration with @lolalevient and @airmowmusic , Fracture invites fragrance to be seen, heard, and felt.

Stones Balls is a graphic and sound experiment around the bounce and impact between materials. The movement of the stones is generated randomly using code. Each bounce and collision triggers a signal sent to Ableton, which plays the corresponding note.
Each raindrop is a random and unpredictable trigger.
As it slides across a graphic grid, it activates pixels, which are translated into musical notes and textures by generative software. ‘Bâton de pluies’ is a living score, where the randomness of the rain
composes and dictates the rhythm of the listening experience.
So we placed a keyboard under the storm, to let the rain speak to us.

Cette réflexion est la rencontre du travail de @lolalevient , artiste-graphiste et @airmowmusic , compositeur de musique électronique.
Chaque goutte de pluie est un déclencheur aléatoire et imprévisible.
En glissant sur une grille graphique, elle active les cases, traduites en notes et textures musicales par un logiciel génératif. « Bâton de pluies » est une partition vivante, où le hasard de la pluie
compose, et impose le rythme de l’écoute.
Alors nous avons placé un clavier sous l’orage, pour laisser la pluie nous parler.
