It feels slightly ridiculous to bring up a New Year’s resolution in May (we listen and don’t judge) but one of mine was to start sharing more with you. A little more of what happens behind the scenes, the moments that mean something to us and the wins we feel grateful to share with you.
So, without further ado, here is a little wrap-up on the month that was April. Because boy, was it a big one.
We started the month in Sydney, shooting our newly launched Butter Collection. Seeing these designs in our dream art deco apartment was honestly so much fun. It always brings me back to why we do what we do, creating pieces that can completely shift the feeling of a room.
Back at the desk, we’ve been deep in a website refresh which has been a labour of love. It’s important to both Wes and I that your online experience feels as considered as the designs themselves, and I hope this new site feels more seamless, beautiful and inspiring to explore.
Our little team has also grown, with two wonderful new faces joining us. Building a team of people who genuinely care about our customers, our service and every small detail that makes Fleur Studios what it is truly means the world.

“The Butter Collection brings together an original FS silhouette alongside new forms, imagined through some of the most sought-after stones from around the world.
I worked hard on the subtleties of form on this collection, so seeing it resonate with so many of you has been incredible. I have always believed in backing yourself and giving things a go. In this case, sourcing stones others might avoid and pursuing designs that feel a little more ambitious. Seeing the response has been a beautiful reminder that those risks are worth taking.”
But my personal favourite part of the month was connecting with some of our longest-standing customers. It was such a full-circle moment. A reminder that FS pieces are not just made to be beautiful when they arrive, but to be lived with, loved and woven into the feeling of home. And truly, how home-like this beautiful community feels to us.

Giving back to some of the wonderful people who have helped shape FS has been so special.
Lani has been part of the FS community for years, and seeing her home filled with our pieces (hello Franca and the Classic Dining Table) so loved and lived with, was a full-circle moment.
We had the best time choosing her next piece together. Rosa Levanto won out, we both couldn’t resist the drama, but Travertine was a very close second.

Five years of FS, almost 100k of you — and getting to give back to just some of the people who made this possible has been one of the most joyful things I’ve done.
Connecting after years of messages, hearing how you’re living with your pieces and choosing new designs for your homes... it has been so much fun.
I can’t help but reflect on the community we’ve built here. The conversations, the trust, the taste you all have! Wes and I are both feeling incredibly grateful.

Wabi, at home with @brookehogan . We’re forever drawn to Turkish Caramel Onyx and the warmth it brings to a space. Inspired by the Japanese philosophy of Wabi-Sabi, the design pairs an organic-shaped tabletop with rounded edges and a single column leg for a silhouette that feels calming and incredibly versatile.
