This kitchen has come a long way from the brown glass splashback.
Looking back at photos is emotional because we had Tone staying with us when we started the demo. It was March 2024 — we’d just seen Fred Again, and the next day we were cutting concrete & knocking down walls.
Five months later, we finished the fit-off. I still remember the moment seeing it complete for the first time.
I think what I love the most, is that it feels ageless. 20 years from now, if we’re lucky enough to still have this little apartment by the beach, I know we’ll love this home just as much as we do now @brendan_mansfield
In July 2024 we walked into a small ceramic studio in Barcelona.
One meeting turned into three hours. Sketches in a hotel room became prototypes.
A year later, we returned to refine the glazing colours in person.
And now, Foundations is almost here.
Final site visit for Garwood House — can’t wait to see our friends moved in, with their art on the walls and life filling this beautiful home.
