Therapeutic and cathartic - a photoshoot that repeatedly and constantly reminded me throughout the day of why I love doing what I do. The privilege of photo styling this project as I went felt less like work and more like play - with all the elements, decor, and fixtures fulfilling their role as the perfect canvas, paint colours, and brushes to create something that fulfils my own soul. Fully restyled under the new owners’ vision, the home continues to evolve on Hamilton Hill. The vertical landscaping is maturing now, cascading against the sculptural concrete forms and softening the facade with every season.

LANTERN // Some projects feel less like ‘work’ and more like a privilege to capture and document. Lantern was exactly that for me. It showcased an exceptional attention to detail, with a passionate focus on both the broad scope and macro - and such a rare, intense, and overwhelming emphasis on the micro elements. To make the experience even more meaningful, it was created by two of the most wonderful people I’ve worked with in my 15 years of photography: @mr_kidd and @dan_mack_ .
