His work combines drawing, publishing and sound experimentation. Florian Bräunlich is an artist, curator and DJ based in Hamburg/Germany. His practice frequently explores DIY aesthetics, establishing connections between sonic phenomena, spaces, people and objects. He is co-founder and co-curator of PAPIRIPAR, an international festival for experimental "counter pop," which he runs alongside Nika Son and Felix Kubin.

Beek is hosting the night on Saturday, featuring a book presentation, concerts and DJs. Alexander Pehlemann, editor of Magnetizdat DDR, presents his book in discussion with music and cultural scholar Prof. Dr. Susanne Binas-Preisendörfer. EOG (Erweiterte OrGasmus Gruppe) collide with the young neo-punks supergroup Kompilation Masturbation and give one of their rare performances. The operators of Iron Curtain Radio and Sozialistischer Plattenbau labels expose us to a stress test regarding magnetic tape music from the FRG and GDR. MAGNETIZDAT DDR. MAGNETBANDUNTERGRUND OST 1979-1990 Book presentation Magnetizdat DDR sheds light on the resistant art scene of the late GDR from many, often subjective perspectives. Prof. Dr. Susanne Binas-Preisendörfer (born in 1964 in East Berlin) is a musicologist, professor, and music activist. Alexander Pehlemann (born in 1969 in East Berlin) is an art historian, former wrestler, and provincial punk. EOG (Erweiterte OrGasmus Gruppe) X KOMPILATION MASTURBATION Concert performance EOG (Erweiterte OrGasmus Gruppe) emerged in 1986 as a splinter group (self-styled “primal scream therapy”) from the Erfurt Women Artists‘ Group Exterra XX, which had been founded in 1984. Its members include Verena Kyselka (born in 1959 in Erfurt), Gabriele Stötzer (born in 1953 in Emleben), and Ina Heyner (born in 1964 in Erfurt). The three art enfants terribles Juliana Zimmer (born in Hamburg in 2002), Sayizan Stange (born in Hamburg in 2001), and Leonie Maltz (born in Hamburg in 1994) romp around in changing line-ups in groups such as blowjobs are real jobs and Luzifer and the Machine Girls. IRON CURTAIN RADIO X SOZIALISTISCHER PLATTENBAU DJ set Alexander Pehlemann runs the Iron Curtain Radio label, which is dedicated to releasing music from Yugoslavia and the Warsaw Pact countries. Er ist Musiker, Künstler, Publizist, Schauspieler, Hörspielmacher, Genialer Dilletant, Kurator, Grafiker, Missverständniswissenschaftler, Performer, Elfenexperte, Punk, Professor und Karl-Sczuka-Preisträger 2009.2013 erschien sein Buch »Subkultur Westberlin 1979–1989. Freizeit«. Mit dem Album "Reenactment - Das Typische Ding" leitete er 2018 ein Comeback der Tödlichen Doris ein. Sie besteht nun aus 31 Mitgliedern. In den Sounds von 31 unterschiedlicher Vibratoren und Sextoys, alle von Tabea Blumenschein gezeichnet und von der Kulturwissenschaftlerin Dr. Katrin Kämpf zu Verfügung gestellt. Viola Yip, born and raised in Hong Kong, now based in Berlin, is an experimental composer, performer, improviser, sound artist and instrument builder. In her practice, she develops unorthodox self-built instruments, compositions and performances that explore the complex and dynamic relationships between materiality, media, space, human body and machine body through sounds. @viola_yip BMB con. was founded by Justin Bennett, Roelf Toxopeus and Wikke ‘t Hooft in 1989. Since 2006 BMB con. consists of a core duo working together with a changing group of invited artists / performers. BMB con. incorporate electronic and acoustic music, field recording, film, video and physical theatre in their performances and installations. As well as these fleeting, sometimes unique actions, BMB con. make and publish audio CD’s, cassettes, videos and photography. @justinbennett_nl Transdisciplinary artist Bella Comsom explores sound and its physical aspects as a composer of conceptual pieces, commissioned works, and experimental electronic music. With a particular focus on electromagnetic fields, she designs specialised antennas that amplify this inaudible spectrum and transform it into audible sound. Her diverse practice includes sound installation, audiovisual, radio art and live performance. @bellacomsom Fleurop is a test tone expert and daffodil collector. In his dj-sets he pulps left-field pop, GDR Dada and the sounds of movie projectors into heart-shaped boxes. Florian Bräunlich is an artist, curator and dj hailing from under and over the ground. In seiner Arbeit verweist er auf Klänge aus dem Off, auf deren doppelte Unsichtbar- und Rätselhaftigkeit. Die Ausstellung setzt sich mit An-und Abwesenheit von Objekten und deren Klängen auseinander.
