Peace Eric Von Haynes: "Drawn Through Restraint" at Tiger Strikes Asteroids (@tsa_chi ) will close this Friday. Come celebrate the closing of my exhibition and residency during the reception on Friday, August 2, from 6 to 8 p.m. Gallery hours on Saturday from 12-4 PM. I would like to extend my sincere gratitude to Jaclyn Jacunski @jaclynjacunski , Angela Davis Fegan @davistint , Gabe @alligatorfuckhaus and Todd Irwin @iprintfakeshit for their invaluable contributions in making this exhibition a reality. I am also thankful to Halligans @hallagans for lending the SF 5450 RISO, which was utilized extensively throughout the residency for workshops.

Welcomes Mac Blackout Street Dreams & Towering Seers Opening Reception: Saturday March 21st, 5-7 pm Show runs: March 12th to May 1st, daily 12-6 pm RSVP To the Opening on our link in bio Quimby’s Bookstore is honored to exhibit Chicago artist Mac Blackout’s next solo show of 10 new paintings and past favorites. Mac Blackout (born Mark Dunihue McKenzie on June 17, 1977) is an American visual artist and musician based in Chicago. Mac was born in Bedford, Indiana, later attending college at the Herron School of Art in Indianapolis, Indiana where he graduated with a BFA in 1999. During his high school and college years he became a well known street artist in the midwest underground. In 1999 he moved to Chicago, Illinois channeling his creative energies into music and the music related art of posters and album covers. From 2000 to present day he has formed several bands releasing more than 10 full length albums as well as a slew of singles. He continues to create music with multiple avant-garde and improvisational musicians and recently released “Revelation On The Beach”, his first solo album in five years on Torn Light/Fire Love Records. Crepusculine Exhibition Closing Reception

North Ave, Chicago IL: 60622 Join Conor Stechschulte  for the closing reception of original art related to the process and thinking behind his new comic, “Crepusculine 2.” We’ll be hanging out with light snacks and even lighter conversation about brush technique and UFO’s! This is your last chance to see the work as it will come down immediately after the closing. Conor Stechschulte is an Eisner-Nominated cartoonist, artist, screenwriter and educator. He is the author of the graphic novels The Amateurs and Ultrasound. His work has been translated into five languages and adapted for film. Power of Print Zine Fest! Saturday, December 20, 2025, from 1-5pm at the @mcachicago . Presented by the MCA’s Teen Creative Agency (@tcaatmca ), in partnership with @zinemercado , this event showcases zines, prints, and other creative works by Chicago and national artists, alongside some fantastic exhibitions at the museum featuring Yoko Ono, Edie Fake, and more! Admission is free. This edition of TCA Zine Fest is organized with support from @zinemercado and will feature local artists, writers, and publishers tabling their work! Alongside them, the Teen Creative Agency at the Museum of Contemporary Art Chicago will release five zines of their own, printed in partnership with the School of the Art Institute. Also check out the TCA’s zine archive, look at the past 14 years of youth social practice. The event is a celebration of DIY publishing, print culture, and local creativity, especially the future voices emerging from Chicago’s youth. @quimbysbookstore is proud to be part of this event.
