OPEN CALL EXTENDED TO 2/28: 21Minus 2026 On Saturday, June 20, 2026, youth take over the Museum of Contemporary Art Chicago. 21Minus is a one-day showcase curated and produced by Teen Creative Agency (TCA), celebrating art made by artists 21 and under alongside community partners who support Chicagoland youth. We are seeking live and time-based works in all forms, including performance, music, dance, film, fashion, drag, comedy, workshops, readings, radio, and more. We accept acts from solo and group acts! Individual teen artists will receive a $250 honorarium. Group acts will receive $250 for the first performer, plus $125 for each additional performer, up to three total. Organizations may also apply and will receive a $750 honorarium, provided that all performers are 21 and under. 📚✂️ 📚🖍️ 📙🤓 TODAY❗️❗️❗️ December 20, 2025 1:00PM - 5:00PM TCA Zinefest 2025: The Power of Prints @ZINEmercado at the @MCAchicago #MuseumOfContemporaryArtChicago The Teen Creative Agency at the MCA is celebrating 13 years of DIY publications! This event showcases the original artwork, activism, and social practice of Chicago-area youth and emerging adults, as captured in zine form. This year, TCA designed and created zines exploring the history of power in print. In addition, we’ve partnered with ZINEmercado to bring in a broader range of local and regional zine-makers and independent presses. TCA highlights teen ideas and perspectives in the museum space. Its members gather at the MCA from all over the Chicagoland area to collaboratively create public responses to relevant contemporary issues. In doing so, they build relationships alongside other cultural institutions, organizations, and professionals in Chicago’s vibrant art scene.
