Parma is doing great, but her vet bills are equally great, so I'm selling my 1973 Honda CL350 scrambler.
Owned it since August 2024 and fully serviced it then to include valve adjust, ignition timing, rebuilt carbs with new floats and gaskets / seals, oil and filter change, new ignition switch, petcock, battery, tires, lubed cables, probably more stuff I'm forgetting.
Starts easy, runs great, put 20 miles on it today and less than 200 since purchase. Clear Colorado title in my name. Asking $3300

We are happy to have gotten her in for surgery 3 days earlier than originally scheduled as the tumor on her right thyroid had grown significantly in less than a week and spread to her left thyroid...surery went well, both thyroids were removed and she's been recovering well in the hospital. Luckily she LOVES going to the vet, so as far as she knows she's just been at Disney world for 2 days 🐶 . She'll be coming home today or tomorrow assuming no curveballs get thrown her way 🤞

UPDATE 1/26: Parma is out of surgery! But might have to stay for 2-3 days in the hospital while they insure her hormone and calcium levels are safe now that she's hypothyroid, which was expected. Fucking cancer had already spread to her second thyroid (they weren't 100% sure) so taking them both out was the right call.
UPDATE: Parma's surgery has been pushed up from Thur. 1/29 to Mon. 1/26. The tumor is growing so getting her into surgery three days sooner to get it removed is great news! And biopsy results will also be back quicker now to have answers to what kind of cancer and how aggressive it is.
Our dearest Eggplant Parmesan has fucking cancer 💔 She's scheduled for surgery on 1/29 to remove a tumor in her neck along with both of her thyroid glands, one of which the cancer has already spread. We're angry, sad, shocked and struggling to believe this is happening. We're still mourning the loss of our sweet little Patty Melt just three months ago.
Parma doesn't know she has cancer and isn't exhibiting any symptoms of illness. She's the most paw-sitive, survival-driven creature I know. We're very optimistic she can beat this as she's been through A LOT and always comes out the other side triumphant. Her Gotcha Day is next Mon. 1/26, she'll be 11 years old and we'll celebrate 7 years together... we look foward to celebrating her 12th birthday ❤️
@flankspeed and I are going to be doing a "virtual garage sale" in our stories in the coming days to help offset the vet costs...if you see something you like and are able to purchase it, thank you. Sending positive thoughts to Parm are very much appreciated too.
