FL5 with a rather special engine all done and ready to collect. 👌😎
Been a long term project this rebuilding the engine due to long lead time on parts plus we were so busy here getting the time to finish it off but its finally done and ready to collect.
Suffering an engine failure after a misshift it needed fully investigating as it was still running but felt lumpy.
Stripping showed the exhaust valves had been clipped and bearings were a bit tight so it was given to a good friend to do the rebuild with a few special updates. 🤫🤓
New bearings, rods, valves and springs later with the intake getting fully ported and slight port on the exhaust side its all back together and running sweet.
The cars still totally stock mods wise but we wanted to run Hondata on this so we can monitor everything the also making it easy to update as breathing mods are added later.
Cars now remapped upping the power and sharpening up power delivery and throttle response in R mode as well as opening the exhaust flap straight away and adding a cheeky crackle the same as the new Integras have from factory.
Looking forward to taking this further in the coming months. 👌😎
