A few adjustments here and there…… camber and wheel alignment adjustments after a clip with a big red sausage curb 🏎️
Back out on track to keep cutting those lap times down 👌
Tomorrow…… is race day… round 1 of the @timeattack_uk 2026 season.

Well here it is!!!
The 2026 livery, donning the CR.ENGINEERING, BGLR, sponsorship.
Really happy with the job #bigboolies has done.
Hell of a journey to get it to this point and ready to compete in TimeAttack UK Chamionship.
Hours of labour have been put in to make it look as good as it does.
Trackday on Sunday as a bit of a shakedown/seat time then onto Round 1 on Monday.
Only 3 days left until we are competing in round 1 of the #timeattackuk championship.
With the bodywork mostly done i can fit the #trackcardoorcards from Simon. In 2024 he kindly supplied me these in carbon effect with the red pulls and red washers to match the role cage.
I didn't get to post much last time due to engine failure at Round 1 so 2026 I'll be trying to promote them for him.
I'm having a big final push to get the car finished off for tomorrow evening then take Saturday as a bit of RnR before Team #crengineering head to Cadwell Park, firstly for the trackday on the Sunday to try set up the car and try remember how to drive. Then Monday we're fighting for silver ware.
My personal goal is to try achieve the Pocket Rocket Naturally Aspirated lap record. I've wanted it since 2023 but so far eluded me.

Long long day yesterday.
Set off to Kent at 6am heading down to #iamotorsport so Jesse #jcalecucalibration could work his magic on the RentAengine build by Dave #crengineering. Didn't get home until 1.30am.
Need to thank the guys for accommodating me last minute and staying back to get us up and running ready for Round 1 of #timeattackuk.
Really appreciated, top blokes. Very knowledgeable pair of gentlemen. If you need mapping these boys are where it's at.
We've got a similar power to last time out, and it's nice and safe knock wise, which is what we were most worried about.
Really happy, it pulls hard and should see me right until we can get mine rebuilt. Waiting on insurance.

CRAZY weekend finishing off so we can get mapping tomorrow.
Had 2 days trying to figure out why the AEM fuel pump was screaming at me. Figured it had dried out sat for 2 years. Fit a new one from my spares, exactly the same! Changed the Fuel Pressure Regulator, no different. Ended up being the filter that was blocked! 🤦♂️
Pumped the 2 year old fuel out and 40blitres of fresh in.
Oil temp and pressure gauges piped/wired up.
Few heat cycles and dropped the oil.
Quick toe adjusted so it'll stay on the dyno and not try to jump off.
Very happy with how it's all gone and it looks stunning.
Thanks the Brett and Mark for helping out where they can.
Let's see what Jesse at #jcalecucalibration can produce from the spicy engine that #cr.engineering has built.

Solid winter by @michaelhume85 on the Klio, it looks amazing, even better with the CR K20 in there! Dyno time this week, ready for @timeattack_uk round 1 at Cadwell!
Thats the full side, door and side skirts prepared ready for topcoat first thing in the morning.
Hopefully 🤞 the emergency engine arrives tomorrow via carrier pigeon #crengineering
We can see if we have everything to make it work.
Thats the left hand side all primed up, inside the arches finished in Titanium silver and lacquered.
Ready to flat tomorrow and mask up for paint.
The emergency back up engine comes Thursday so that needs to be in and running yesterday.
Still needs mapping.
Livery to apply aswell.

After the full righthand side of the Clio being painted i set on and fitted it back up. Checking fitment and panel alignment again.
Minor strengthening required on the upper door hinge, with the doors being fibreglass. Somebody put too much weight on the door when it was open and weakened it. Steel plate fabricated and bonded onto position.
Now onto the the left hand side to do it all again.
Engine should arrive back from #crengineering next week ready to fit over Easter.
Fure extinguisher is out ready to send for a service.
