1 owner from new, a cleaner engine inside than most engine rebuilds and finished off with a set of DC5 brembo calipers.
Proper throwback to the early days, with upgrades with what was out there at the time.
All mapped by Paul again 20 years later on its original Kpro.

Mega day with Keiran @ktech_performance stripping out the old cable clutch setup and replacing it with @ef_edconversions pedal assembly. Married up with @hybridracing S2K master cylinder this completely changes the feeling of the car and makes it more maintainable. Always grateful for his time on this car! ❤️

Big update this week in with Kieren to install an uprated head stud kit then a full 27WON intake and top pipe kit along with a new RV6 turbo pretty much maxing out whats possible now on stock fuel systems.
Dyno shows a back to back with the original turbo setup and spoon panel filter and what's immediately apparent is the massive lag compared to stock
Your 100ftlb down at 2500rpm, 150ftlb at 3000rpm with peak torque changing from 3500 to 4500
You do see however the bigger RV6 making better power as its glowing better at higher rpm.
I was also able to run higher boost as the intake wasn't as restrictive and its all flowing so much better now.
Should be a totally different drive now. 👍

Heads up FK2/FK8 owners that "think" they have a boost issues as its not pulling well
Wrong!
9/10 its down to something as simple as spark plugs or a coil pack.
Had this totally stock FK8 in yesterday for diagnostics as it was apparently losing boost and hesitant
Carried out a full system scan and everything was clear the got it setup on the dyno to do some base runs logging everything
Loaded the dyno up to setup the rpm and it immediately started misfiring without doing an actual power run.
Misfiring. 😉
Abandoned the test and went straight to the plugs to check them. Found 1 plug damaged so replaced the lot and re tested it.
Carried out multiple runs hard loaded and car was perfect
Moral of the story is if you believe its not pulling clean under boost the seriously check the obvious stuff first
For £50 for a set if plugs just gap and replace them first rather than fretting and if its still having issues give us a call as with the dyno and ability to hard load test as well as all necessary diagnostics tools we can probably diagnose the issue within an hour. 👍👌
