Making Of: ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2026 Intro
Here’s a peek into our process for designing the official opening sequence for the ICC Men’s T20 Cricket World Cup 2026.
This year, the idea was to capture the fiery spirit of the cricketers and the burning passion that drives them to compete at the highest level of the game. We used the element of fire as the core visual motif, aligning it with the official branding colours of the season to create a look that feels intense, energetic and true to the tournament.
The sequence was built using a mix of CG animation, digital compositing and motion graphics to harmonise the brand assets with the fire elements.
We created custom CG shots of the ball, bat and trophy inside the stadium to give the intro a cinematic scale and sense of spectacle.
A lot of time also went into shaping the edit with the music, making sure every cut, hit and transition carried the dynamism and momentum that a World Cup opener demands.

We got the opportunity to create the opening sequence for the ICC Men’s T20 Cricket World Cup 2026.
This year, the idea was to capture the fiery spirit of the cricketers and the burning passion that drives them to compete at the highest level of the game. The tournament brings together the best players in the world in one of the most intense and prestigious stages in cricket.
To reflect this energy, we used the element of fire throughout the sequence, aligning it with the official branding colours of the season to create a visual language that feels both powerful and cohesive with the tournament packaging.

Minimalist CG Product Render (Retinal 0.2% Liposomal Cream)
I got a chance to work on a CG product render for @beminimalist__ where I got to sketch out concepts, build the CG scene and see it through till the final finishing touches. It was a short, but sweet project and I definitely enjoyed the change of pace from motion design.
@fl3vi came in clutch for the CG part, and he smoothened out many rough edges. Grateful to @deep_rk for giving me this opportunity!
