At December 14th’s WHF we will meet Bryde Dixon, an organic grower and chef with a deep passion for Scotland’s food culture and its power to reconnect us with the land, our bodies, and one another. FREE register via our bio link 🥬
Bryde believes food forms one of the most direct relationships we have with our environment — nourishing us both literally and figuratively, and reminding us that our wellbeing depends on the wellbeing of the land. She began farming in 2014 with her now husband, Nat Dixon, when together they established Falkland Kitchen Farm, an organic market garden supplying their veg box scheme as well as local restaurants and retailers. In 2023 they joined forces with @eastneukmarketgarden to explore how collaborative farming could help them build resilience without compromising their ideals. This led them to create @fiveacresstandrews — a “seed-to-plate” canteen in St Andrews designed to serve nourishing meals while building that crucial platform for connection. 🍅❤️
