We are celebrating two years of Elliot, Eva + Maliha 🤎
They joined us at a real moment of growth, when we expanded to our King Street shop, and have shaped so much of what BB looks and feels like today.
Elliot now manages operations for our wrapping team, maintaining high standards and building the processes that keep us running smoothly.
Eva has brought consistency and care to both the shop and wrapping team, whether she’s serving you in store or hand-wrapping your bars with precision.
Maliha brings real craft to our production team, bags loads of patience while problem solving, and expertly tempers the bars that end up in your hands.
On top of all that, they bring a huge amount of passion + laughter to each day! We love you three! ⭐
Our gorgeous shop is 2! 🤸♀️⭐
Two years of sharing our chocolate right round the corner from where it’s made!
We’ve spent our time filling our shelves with small batch goods, beautiful homewares, and kitchen staples from makers that we love.
Thank you for making our little shop into something so special! Don’t forget we’re serving free oat drinks all day today in partnership with @minorfigures 🌱 Open 11-5 🤎

It’s our shop’s 2nd birthday and we’re launching our new partnership with @minorfigures . Join us to celebrate with free oat hot chocolates + iced chocolates this Saturday, 111 King Street, 11-5! 🤎
We are so excited to now be working with regenerative oat milk from Minor Figures. We’ll be serving free regular sized oat hot chocolates (both our 68% Dominican Salted and 70% Madagascan) as well as our delicious iced chocolates!
Minor Figures’ regenerative oat milk is made in partnership with @wildfarmed , using fully traceable oats regeneratively grown here in the UK. Wildfarmed follow unique regenerative principles to improve soil health, enhance biodiversity, reduce carbon and water pollution, bringing life back to fields. It’s also gluten free and fortified with vitamins + minerals 🌱
Our new Whole Cacao Bean Brew! 🤎
Our whole cacao beans, ground and brewed like coffee. The result is something light, tea-like, with delicate chocolate and fruit notes that shift depending on how long you brew for. Four minutes and it’s bright and fruit-forward, eight and the nuance of the cacao becomes pronounced.
Sourced from the UCLS co-operative in northern Madagascar.
Available to sample and take home this weekend, exclusively at our shop, 111 King Street, Glasgow.
A short walk away from @waspsstudios , the home of @glasgowcoffeefestival this weekend! 🤎

We are so excited to announce that we have taken on the lease for a new railway arch! 🔨
Moving into Osborne St nearly 5 years ago was an incredibly exciting but scary step for us. We knew there was an appetite for our chocolate but the rent, machinery and expansion of the team were huge steps for Bare Bones.
Fast forward to now and we are bursting at the seams, which is a real pinch us moment when we think back to moving into this space!
We couldn’t be more grateful to everyone who buys our chocolate and the amazing shops, coffee shops and restaurants that we work with.
We are super excited for this next chapter of Bare Bones. More space to refine our process, more room to experiment and more opportunities to share the chocolate we love so much.
Thank you,
Love Team BB 🤎
So proud to have donated £4,504.90 to Glasgow Children's Hospital Charity!
We visited GCHC to learn about the incredible work they carry out to support children and their families when they need it most.
GCHC fundraises to ensure that every baby, child and young person treated at Scotland's largest children's hospital receives the care they deserve. Their key areas of work include vital research, play programmes, patient, family + staff support. The charity also supports maternity and neonatal care at the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital.
Since December 2024, we have been donating a portion of sales of our delicious 47% Dominican Kids Hot Chocolate Flakes to our chosen charity - £1 from every 250g bag, £3 from every 1kg bag, and 70p per cup at our King Street shop. Thank you for helping us support for local families 🤎
