FIU Art + Art History alumni Karla Kantorovich and Marcos Valella, alongside Visiting Assistant Teaching Professor Moira Holohan, are showing this week at Future Fair NY 2026 as part of Field Conditions, Dimensions Variable’s presentation at Booth F1, Chelsea Industrial, 535 W 28th Street.
Kantorovich works with assemblages of textiles, handmade paper, and sustainably sourced materials, bringing the logic of natural cycles and renewal into the field. Valella’s paintings, built from spray paint, found objects, and assembled fabric, move between the finished and the perpetually open. Holohan’s woven textiles and flip-book animations juxtapose the laborious and the immediate, encoding visual language through abstraction, Morse code, and the layered mark.
Field Conditions features 13 artists from the Dimensions Variable ecosystem, with works distributed without hierarchy, meaning produced through proximity and relation rather than composition.
