Holiday airline travel is bananas.✈️❄️ A couple years ago my SILs were flying from Calgary to Halifax on Christmas eve. They made it all the way to Halifax, like they could SEE THE AIRPORT out the window, but they couldn't land because of all the snow and ice. The plane did a 180 and flew back to Montréal (where they just made their connecting flight) and they spent the night in a hotel. Then they did it all over again the next day. 🫠

Do you know your belt size? It's NOT THE SAME as your pant size. All my belts are made to order and go up to a size 70" (larger sizes available upon request). My belt size is 39". I wear a size XL or XXL, my waist measurement is 38" and my hip measurement is 48". Method #1: Using Your Body Put on the pair of pants you want to wear the belt with. Measure around your waist along the belt loops. If you’re in between sizes round up to the next inch. Method #2: Using a Belt Measure from the hole you use most often to the inner tip of the belt buckle. If you’re in between sizes round up to the next inch. On Sunday morning in the Creative Lounge @ooak_toronto we got the chance to make Leather Flowers with Robin @fitzydesign . It was SO COOL to learn all about leatherwork, and to use some of the special tools of the trade - like the leather punches and rivet press. Fitzy will be offering custom sized leather belts (up to 6x) - Ready in 30 Min, onsite monogramming, and sewing notions. @COVENsk jewellery is a casting of magic, metal and gemstones. A majority of COVEN pieces incorporate gemstones and are made from hypoallergenic metals like: gold-fill, gold vermeil, sterling silver and stainless steel. Our speciality gemstones are Jade and Freshwater Pearls. COVEN is also one of the few jewellers that does on site customizations and alterations for most their pieces to ensure size inclusivity for customers. Hey! Have you seen our “Little bits” collection? We just sent out a big batch of them to @etsy and @faulhaber.agency for a media preview 🥰��In place of traditional metal leather stamps, we use Ali’s leftover laser cut wood scraps (aka “little bits”) they’re the little pieces that get cut away from wooden artwork and always litter the studio floor. We press the wooden bits into the leather to create one of a kind designs including leather wallets, keychains, landyards, and even flower belts! Every “little bits” piece is laid out by hand using a different selection of offcuts making your design exclusive to you, and only you.
