Loom Weaving School and Fibre Studio

So thrilled to finally share my recent work on @testamentsonhulu 🤍 I was brought on to create a series of hand woven pillows for the set, adding warmth, texture, and a hand-crafted feel to the space. I also collaborated with the set design and props team to develop a realistic and functional weaving learning environment for the school featured in the show—From planning the layout to dressing the looms, everything was designed to feel authentic to a working studio. I had the opportunity to train the actors in the scene on how to use the looms, which was such a fun and surreal experience seeing it all come to life on camera. A big congratulations to @barefootplantlady for the beautiful embroidery work featured in the show, and to @gillianclarke123 for sharing her bobbin lacing expertise with the students. I’ll be sharing more behind-the-scenes of the pillow making and studio setup soon. This rug was brought to me by a client who had purchased it abroad and brought it home thinking that it was finished and secured.
