My little sister, Kiara, is coming of age, and with it is an interest in dating and relationships, love and desire.
I wanted to give her some advice, and rather than speaking from my own perspective, I asked my nearest and dearest women for some wise words for her; very quickly it grew beyond me and became something bigger.
Now I’m super pleased to say that some womxn from all around the world have contributed and offered advice to Kiki and their younger selves, all in this book.
Dear Kiki is a little bit of love from an older brother that hopes my little sister (and maybe even sisters everywhere) learns how to sensibly navigate this lovely, confusing, exciting, hurtful, heartwarming, beautiful thing we call love 💌

Directed a really reminiscent and warm video for Jalen N’Gonda’s Just Like You Used To – his first single with his iconic label, Daptone Records.
Entirely shot on film and analogue mediums — it was very ambitious. That nostalgic and dreamlike quality of 16mm and Super8 will always feel worthwhile to me.
In the end, the video wasn’t chosen to roll out alongside the song. And so I’m sharing some excerpts you can see and listen to here ✨

Honpuku-ji, or, the Water Temple, designed by Tadao Ando on Awaji Island in Hyogo, Japan.
There’s this seasonal magic there that reveals, renews, and releases itself — the temple’s roof is decorated with lotus on still water 🪷
