Slow Dance ’25 12/20 - Spiritbone - acetone (demo) Spiritbone is the debut solo project of musician and producer Finn Billingham (Sunken) — After a years hiatus Slow Dance celebrates the start of their 10th Anniversary with return of their lauded yearly Compilations, released in full on 13th March, a varied summation of both the year passing and the year to come in new UK underground music and around the world. It represents the labels 10 years of curation and space within the landscape of Alternative music. Predicting new avenues, and key artists from various scenes and spaces outside the industry. At 1h20mins the compilation works to mirror the playlist culture this generation is tied to. A more subdued and darker affair this time, featuring old and new faces, this collection of sounds from their bedroom or studios marks the political turmoil and global instability we have all faced in 2025, with a look of hope to the future. 📷 @scottjgallagher

HIGHSCHOOL debut LP out now on @pias Rory & Luke, anyone that has been pulled into your orbit knows what good people you are. Working relentlessly hard, but never forgetting to push the people around you up as you do it. You both showed me so much about making records & having a good time doing it. We made due with an empty shell of a studio and tried our best to pull the record together. It was a really good time. Thanks so much for having me produce the record with you guys & can’t wait to see you both in a few weeks. Thanks @babenhillier for co-producing the record and helping us sculpt the sonic world. Without your input im sure we’d still be arguing about the many iterations of each song. Spending time at your studio is always an effortless pleasure. Thanks to @danmakesnoise for always being there and keeping the studio running. I miss seeing you guys every couple of weeks. @cmittendorfer thanks for your work on mixing the record and going above & beyond with so many intricate revisions.
