TRISTÉ est un morceau qui incarne l’âme nostalgique et cinétique de Loudmer, c’est le premier extrait de l’EP Analog1 qui sortira le 29 mai 2026. Inspiré par l’héritage Kraftwerk, il déploie une mélodie envoûtante sur un beat breaké, évoluant progressivement vers une structure plus techno. La montée, portée par une basse hypnotique et des échos à bandes, joue avec les syncopes et les textures analogiques, jusqu’à culminer en une ascension vertigineuse. Entre mélancolie et optimisme, TRISTÉ est un voyage initiatique, aussi immersif en écoute solitaire qu’efficace en club, où il peut servir de buildup puissant. English version: “TRISTÉ” embodies Loudmer’s nostalgic and kinetic soul, serving as the first single from the upcoming “Analog1” EP, out May 29, 2026. Inspired by Kraftwerk’s legacy, the track weaves an enchanting melody over a broken beat, gradually evolving into a more techno-driven structure. The build, carried by a hypnotic bassline and tape echoes, plays with syncopation and analog textures, culminating in a dizzying ascent. Exsonvaldes & Helena Miquel - En Sentido Contrario 💎 Link in bio En Sentido Contrario is our third song with Helena Miquel, and it’s the first time we’ve ever given 100% of a chorus to someone other than Simon — a true sign of trust! A tribute to the ’90s rock of our teenage years, the song was written in Drop D tuning, with a chorus-soaked guitar sound that recalls Come as You Are by Nirvana. To illustrate the song, we wanted to recreate the homemade video we did with Helena 10 years ago for "En Silencio". So once again, we walked and rode through Paris and Barcelona, asking people from all over the world to be part of it. And like during the filming of the first video, we only met super friendly people and had the greatest time! The lyrics for "En Sentido Contrario" started as a joke between us: we often say that if you’re driving on the highway and everyone seems to be going the wrong way, chances are you’re the one who’s mistaken. The French text originally began with “Seul au milieu des fous” (“Alone among the mad”), but in the end, we preferred the Spanish title "En Sentido Contrario" — more evocative. New single Tired of Everything out now on @v2records This was the first song we wrote and completed for the album — we even considered releasing it as a standalone single before continuing the writing process! In the end, it serves as a perfect bridge between Maps and Ninety Seconds to Midnight. There’s a “Maps color” in the verse arrangements and keyboard solo, and a clear Ninety Seconds to Midnight tendency emerging in the choruses, with their distorted, shoegaze guitars.
