What you know the best, is what you capture the best.
Being around martial arts from a young age and practicing it for about 10 years now, I feel at home on a mat or in a ring, I love it.
Being able to give back to the sport in a way that enables me to show gratitude to the knowledge and relationships Iāve been able to build because of it is priceless.
Capturing the moments no one notices, to show that thereās way more to this game than just aggression and ego. Uncovering the restraint, loyalty and trust that lies beneath it.
Even though this is not the only focus we have here at @fili.studios , this is the exact center in between the passions that form what FiLi Studios stands for.

ONE WEEK AGO
We had the premiere of Basophobia, and I donāt even know where to begin. What a night. The support everyone showed to the movie was overwhelming. You create something with a small group of people, to then show it to 150 people was one of the best feelings in the world. Special shoutout to my 2 cast members who came all the way to Mechelen, Belgium for this! @twotimemma & @elysabno you guys were amazing to work with, and it filled my heart to have you guys experience all of the amazing reactions alongside me. The rest of the cast was with us in spirit, and boy did we feel itšš¼
Thank you to @margothallemans for being an amazing host that guided us through the evening, and thank you to everyone who showed support.
This is my second short film so far, and I canāt wait to see where this journey is going to take everyone whoās a part of it.

Last but certainly not least, meet @influentialpartnershipgroup AKA āDemetriusā! Zach plays a guy who is jealous, envious and has some massive anger issues, which could not be further away from Zachās actual personality! This was his first set experience, but you wouldnāt even know that by the way he carried himself on set. Eager to work, learn and stay busy!! Meet @elysabno AKA āRachelā!
If, for any reason, the sun wouldnāt be shining in LA, Ely made sure it would be shining on set! Combine that with her no-nonsense approach and you have Rachel! Her energy and work ethic allowed her to bring depth to her character in a way that only she could pull off. This reel tries to capture the sunshine and the donāt-mess-with-me all in 1š¤Ŗ.
