2025 was a bit of special year for us. Some of our biggest and most adventurous projects came out this year but 2025 also marked 15 years of Fieldwork Facility! Thank you to all our friends clients and collaborators. Hope you have a lovely break and see you next year.
The first 2022 Fieldwork Facility project has gone live!
We’ve designed the pedestrian wayfinding for @brentcrosstown .
Billed as a Park Town for future London – Brent Cross Town is a multi-billion pound development with the aim of becoming the place in London to participate in sport and play. The development is a joint partnership between Argent Related with Barnet Council. Argent is the developer behind Kings Cross & Related behind Hudson Yards, NY.
This is the first part of a wider FF project. We have been looking after the experience of a ten-minute walk from Brent Cross tube station to the new development. The project includes wayfinding, curating and commissioning public art, design interventions along the route, a parade of shops and general hygiene improvements too.
2022 let’s go. 🚀
A couple of months back, Robin took the stage at @itsnicethat ’s #NicerTuesdays to talk about how we design for uncharted territories, sharing an in-depth look at our recent work for V&A East Storehouse. Link in bio to watch the talk!
We’re a winner in the Creative Review Annual Awards 2026. It’s amazing to see V&A East Storehouse’s wayfinding celebrated alongside some of the industry’s most exciting work. #CRAA2026 @creativereview@vam_east
We’re a winner in the Creative Review Annual Awards 2026! Proud to see the David Bowie Centre for @vam_east win in the ‘Experience’ category: ‘Installations and Exhibitions’. #CRAA2026 @creativereview
V&A East Museum opens this Saturday. We can’t wait to share with you our work. We have designed the wayfinding for the Museum completing our @vam_east trilogy of projects!
The wayfinding is a low-carbon modular system that uses 1240 tiles made from Sycamore and Recycled Plastics. Each tile is individually cut, engraved, and then finished and assembled by hand... We’ll share properly soon!
We are absolutely thrilled that the David Bowie Centre for @vam_east is shortlisted in the @creativereview awards!
Experience Category: ‘Installations and Exhibitions’.
Design studio @fieldworkfacility has worked with @bathnescouncil to develop new branding and signage for the historic Bath River Line, a 10km trail that runs through the heart of the city.
Bold and accessible typography has been used across the brand identity, coupled with a colour palette that takes inspiration from local riverside (or “riparian”) nature, and local collage artist @marian.hill was commissioned to illustrate some of the wildlife.
What do you make of this new look?

Bath River Line is a 10km riverside trail that runs through the historic centre of Bath. The brand identity takes inspiration from the seasonal changes along the river and specifically the historic flood level markings found within the city centre.
Historically, the city of Bath has turned its back on the River Avon and has missed opportunities to engage with and celebrate its nature, industrial heritage, and broader connections with water. The route features interpretation across three themes ‘Riparian Nature’, ‘Hidden History’ and ‘Water! Since the 1800’s, dozens of historic floods have been commemorated by carving dates, lines and arrows into buildings along the riverside.
