Finally sharing some documentation of me performing my new work in progress at @momentanyc at @intima.c0m 🦋 Thanks to @cry_kim_ who was down to jump into the work and is taking the live sound to the next level 🔊 and @lina__azalea and @garden_of_hedon for the invitation. Also all the loved ones who showed up. It was a special night for me and I’m excited to keep going with the research. In this performance I created a system to control live sound and visual effects with my mouth and hand movements. This choreographic process started with me thinking about how a plant called Rue can express itself through human facial expression. Then some caterpillars appeared and disappeared, and during a very tough period in my life the plant died (maybe to save my life). My process now has been an electronic meditation on more-than-human protection, trauma, transformation…and hybrid humans. I’m looking for support and spaces to keep going with this performance and augmentation experimentation - tbh this is vital for me - any resources or ideas would be much appreciated. #augmentedreality #mixedreality #performanceart

I had the great pleasure to co-create and present this XR project invited by @andreolli and in collaboration with such a beautiful team. VIBRAÇÕES DO IGNOTO [fogo]para a memória de um museu-ritual Protótipo crítico de realidade aumentada O incêndio do Museu Nacional do Rio de Janeiro em 2 de Setembro de 2018 criou imagens carregadas de força simbólica sobre a condição de tratamento dadas às pesquisas científicas e culturais no Brasil. Esse incêndio provocou perdas irreparáveis, mas ao mesmo tempo nos fez refletir sobre o peso de determinadas narrativas históricas, nos impelindo traçar novas memórias que re-existem para além da matéria destruída. A partir do estudo das narrativas trazidas pelos pesquisadores e membros da equipe de resgate do acervo do Museu Nacional, este projeto propõe um protótipo de exposição em Realidade Mixada, inspirada pelas peças recuperadas e pelas memórias das peças perdidas no incêndio.
