Artist Highlight: Daniel Felstead x Jenn Leung🩸
🩸Daniel Felstead (
@felstead.daniel )is a London based academic and director whose practice focuses on the relationship between bodies, technology, and culture. With a background in experiential design and strategy, in 2022 Daniel founded MA Fashion Media & Communication at the London College of Fashion (UAL) which he now runs.
🩸Most recently Daniel has produced, with his collaborator Jenn Leung, a series of critically acclaimed short film commissions that explore the myths, ideologies and realities of the metaverse, AI, biotech and neural media.
🩸Daniel’s work has been exhibited internationally including at Berlin Critics Week, Fundació Foto Colectania, MAPS, Medialab, ICA, PAF, RISD, Shedhalle, Transmediale, and V&A Museum.
🩸Jenn Leung (
@jennnital ) is a lecturer, researcher, and simulation developer investigating the intersections of neuroscience, computation, and real-time media. She develops Unreal Engine interfaces for brain organoids and agent behaviour simulation, with publications in MIT Antikythera Journal and NeurIPS 2025. A Lecturer at the University of the Arts London, she also researches at Lifefabs Institute and The Bartlett (UCL). Her work has shown at Ars Electronica and Tai Kwun, and she collaborates with Daniel Felstead on commissioned films for DIS.art.
