eBay and DRAFTING have partnered for a three-part New York City stoop sale series. The second sale, curated by @juliafox , will feature pieces pulled directly from her personal archive alongside other items tied to some of her most recognizable fashion moments.
Fox talks us through some of her favorite pieces she’s selling on eBay, sharing the stories, memories and lore behind items she’s ready to pass on to someone new.

In 2024, comedian @norafriednyc started the @rosebudsreadingcollective , a monthly book club for women incarcerated at Rikers Island, New York City’s island jail. “I was looking forward to this all month,” Fried recalls multiple women telling her. “This is the only thing I had to look forward to.”
The women read Down the Drain, a memoir by actor @juliafox . After the discussion, Fried tagged Fox on Instagram. Fox, whose brother was incarcerated at Rikers at the time, agreed to visit the group.
Fox learned that her book was a particularly hot commodity and that one woman’s copy had been stolen. Still, all were curious about how a girl like them had become a published author. The room resonated with laughter, from both the incarcerated women and the guards.
“It made me think to myself, I would do this every weekend. I want to come back. I love these girls,” Fox says. “They are amazing, remarkable, intelligent young women [who] made mistakes. We’ve all made mistakes. Some of us are lucky enough not to get caught.”

I’m sickened by the allegations that I copied Lisa’s (super chic) outfit in any way, shape, or form. Can’t say I’m surprised that the patriarchy would assume that just because two gorgeous and iconic women have awe-inspiring taste means that one of them must be a no good copy cat. The first time I ever laid eyes on this look was when I saw myself in the mirror and anyone who says otherwise hates women.
