Marianna is our day 1, and quite literally part of the reason Feia even exists, so to witness her being truly seen this week has been a dream come true. A thousand thank yous to @elisartgal for not only being the hardest working person in our industry, but for truly understanding what we are doing here at Feia. POCKET PARK, the debut @newartdealers solo by @mariannamperagallo made a BIG SPLASH (quite literally) and SOLD OUT on day ONE. BUT fear not, the booth has regenerated and the park has grown new life with a fresh crop of astounding work. You’ll have to see it in person to believe it. Today @starrettlehigh . Aside from that, and forgetting the fact we sound like a broken record, THANK YOU ALL FOR EVERYTHING. A year ago, Feia was the beginning of an idea. But you’ve helped us build a building, sell out fairs across the nation, and cultivate a community of artists, patrons, advisors, art lovers, friends, and more who are all now part of the Feia Family. This show is particularly special. We are just two weeks from opening our physical location in LA, and Marianna has been by our side since day one (and way before that). This moment is a demonstration of our constant commitment to showing up for artists and for you all for years to come. We’re not going anywhere (except everywhere)!!!!! Featuring not one, not two, but THREE shows across THREE floors of art, we cannot wait to welcome you to Feia’s first permanent home Designed by co-founders @jakecavallo and @tmpilnik and built from the ground up, Feia’s 1500 square foot building in Highland Park, Los Angeles, will serve as our programming hub for exhibitions, installations, activations, events, and so much more To inaugurate the space, we are excited to announce LEMNISCATUS in the first floor gallery with @nicholasbonokennedy and @casey.baden , DID YOU HAVE A GOOD DAY? Paul Anagnostopoulos reimagines the classical world through a contemporary queer lens, returning queerness to the myths, figures and visual traditions it was never truly absent from. Working across canvas, shaped panels and terracotta vessels, his practice pulls from Greco-Roman mythology, camp, kitsch and personal memory to create work that feels ancient, electric and defiantly alive. Paul will be showing his solo booth, Catasterism, with Feia at Future Fair in NYC, May 13–16, at Booth R5.

🍏 BACK2BACK2BACK2NYC 🍎 Hooooooo boy we are going back to the BEGINNING of all things Feia with this one. We are ECSTATIC to make our @newartdealers NYC debut with the one and only, the Feia OG, the woman who can literally DO 👏🏼 IT 👏🏼ALL 👏🏼 - @mariannamperagallo Peragallo’s show, Pocket Park, explores the overlooked, whimsical, and emotionally charged lives of everyday objects. In cities, “pocket parks” are small public spaces wedged into the gaps of the built environment, including leftover lots and corners of blocks, which provide small slices of air in the midst of urban chaos. New York in particular has almost 150 officially recognized pocket parks. Peragallo transforms this idea into a personal, tactile, and charged landscape, offering a tiny sanctuary created within an do the spatial constraints of a NADA projects booth. There will be fountains, there will be repurposed trash, there will be a cute baby present on occasion, there will be new hats, there will be a full POCKET PARK - this is not one to miss.
