Obrigado @neighbors.art for the most tender of art weeks. @mir.ka.sm and @jonnytanna created something full of intimate and intentional moments, joyful conversation, and real connections.
@syddd.viciouss , @_h4yli3 , and @juuuanitx are a dream team, thank you for saying yes and diving into the kitchen with us.
We can’t wait for next time ❤️🔥

These special guests will share their experiences and insights working in the art world!
I have nothing left to say but thank you.
Thank you Charles for your trust, thank you Jake for reminding me to drink water, thank you Felix, Mills, Jessica, Blessing and the entire team for taking a chance on us and making the week so easy, thank you Brian, Anni, and The Art Dady for seeing us so clearly, thank you to every single collector, advisor, designer, artist, and visitor for understanding our vision, and thank you Feia for changing my life.
They put the windows on our building today, something about that feels poetic. We’ll see you there in May.
For now, a bit of rest and a lot more work

🗣️ A BIG DAY FOR THE LETTER E 🗣️
@elephantmagazine and @elleusa giving @charles__hickey his flowers today AND spending time outside with our fabulous group show, Coisas Feia’s
Huge gratitude to Anni Irish AND the ever elusive @theartdaddy_ for your generous coverage. We really did come to @felixartfair to tell you all that we are HERE, and I’m so grateful that message has been heard loud and clear.
You have one more day to witness the world we’ve built with Charles and so many amazing artists. See you by the pool
❤️🔥
☀️ The sun shone brightly on Feia this year ☀️
2025 was a year of firsts for us: we left out first home in San Clemente and finally became a gallery, participated in not only our first fair but our first THREE around the country, became NADA members, joined the Artadia Ambassador Council, sold hundreds of hats, worked with a plethora of artists, placed dozens of works, destroyed a few, picked up a lot of press in Forbes, Hyperallergic, White Walls and more, hosted dinners, exhibitions, and markets, AND MOST IMPORTANTLY, broke ground on our brand new 1200 square foot gallery right here in Los Angeles.
We learned…a lot. There are far too many of you to thank for teaching us how to exist, how to put artists first, how to make sure we can do this not only next year but for decades to come. But you know who you are, and we are so grateful for you.
And to the artists who said yes first and asked questions second, the collectors who have work at home, the growing Feia community who have shown up for us time and time again, and everyone else cheering us on, we exist because of you and for you. Thank you for believing (in) us, and for your trust. We won’t let you down.
Expect so much more in 2026. We will hit the ground running, inaugurate this building, and quite literally cement ourselves in LA’s cultural landscape. So get ready for more Feia: more hats, more fairs, more shows, more art, more press, more joy.
Obrigado por tudo, até logo.
& that’s a wrap, everyone say “happy birthday” to me, “congratulations” to Feia, “I want to acquire this piece” to Melanie, and “thank you” to NADA
And in all seriousness, thank you. To the dozen new collectors, the 100 new art daddies, the gallerists turned mentors turned friends, the fair workers, the art appreciators, and the thousands of you I had the pleasure to speak to this week, thank you. Best birthday week of my life.
On the occasion of my birthday, I’ll tell you a brief story:
In 2023, Feia founders @jakecavallo and I came to Miami to explore the art week experience. It was fun, but I told Jake that I didn’t want to come back until I was showing. Feia didn’t exist, and I meant that as an artist. I still can’t quite believe that two years later, our small (but mighty) gallery had the opportunity to show @newartdealers . I spoke, and the universe answered in its own funny way.
See you next year, and long live Feia ❤️🔥

👷🏼♂️ DEMOLITION DERBY 👷🏼♂️
Thank you, thank you, and THANK YOU to everyone who made our not-quite-inaugural exhibition opening such a rousing success
We are in awe of this community, and so grateful to each and every one of you who showed up to support us and our artists, who rescued work from impending destruction, and who sat and relaxed with hot AND cute dogs on a busy Saturday
As the Derby comes to an end, as quickly as it began, you have ONE MORE CHANCE to save some art in person before it all - literally - becomes a part of our foundation
Join us this Saturday from 2-6PM or Sunday from 11-4PM for one final look at Demolition Derby. After that, we’ll be seeing you alongside a bulldozer
