Yesterday we had the privilege of taking Art Night to the @dcadundee for a tour of their exhibition 'We Contain Multitudes' followed by craft activities inspired by the amazing artwork. The exhibition works towards creating systemic change in the Scottish arts sector for disabled visual artists, arts professionals, and audiences. We explored art from 4 different artists, how the pieces made us feel, followed by using the DCA Create Space to have a go at watercolours ourselves, taking inspiration from the exhibition. We would highly recommend visiting the free exhibition before it closes on Sunday 26th April to see the art for yourself. Our young people found the space, calming, inviting and inspiring!🌟 Thank you to the DCA for facilitating the session and making us feel so welcome!💜 .uk/events/o3w-we-contain-multitudes/

I was lucky enough to spend some time with @feelingstronguk - Dundee's Youth Mental Health Charity - last week, viewing the "Scroll Down" exhibition. The artwork by young people explores their relationships with technology, social media & the internet. It's a great charity - thank you to all involved! For more info, check out /home

Thank you so much to everyone who came to our Scroll Down art exhibition! 💜 We had a fantastic turn out and such an amazing response to our artist in residence, @by.jayremy , final piece! "The final piece features 3 large prints of a photograph. It aims to unapologetically showcase the average young man and reflect on the struggles of our generation. Criticising the culture created by the Manosphere, “Locking in” and idolization of Entrepreneurship. The piece forces you to look our youth directly in the eyes and experience the rising pressure and overwhelm." Thank you to The Weir Charitable Trust for funding this campaign! You can see more photos from the exhibition on our website - click the link in our bio! ⬆️ past-projects > campaigns-resources > off-the-grid-on-the-scene > scroll-down > art-exhibition

We’re pleased to invite you to the showcase of Feeling Strong’s newest campaign: Scroll Down! This campaign empowered 23 young people in Dundee to discuss how rapidly changing technology, social media and the internet are affecting their mental health. Admire multiple forms of artwork from the attendees of the campaign, as well as the final artwork of our artist in residence: Jeremy Varcl, local student of Abertay University. Here's a hint: it's BIG! Food and refreshments will be provided. Please feel free to bring along any coworkers, friends or family with you! If you have any questions, please email [email protected] @womensaiddundee @cake_or_dice @wrasac @by.jayremy
