7 things the running world needs to know.
More isn’t always better. Pace isn’t everything and some of your best running training isn’t even running. Strength training, bike, swimming, walking and resting can elevate your programme like you wouldn’t believe. 🔑
📝
1. Not everybody needs to love running. And that’s okay.
2. Running is a skill…and you can learn.
3. More isn’t necessarily better. Better is better!
4. Sharp rises in volume will hurt you more than under training will.
5. Every run, even the easy ones carry a recovery debt.
6. Some of your best running training isn’t running.
7. Pace and distance aren’t the only ways to measure the success of a run.
Drop this on someone who needs to hear it.

Soooooo I can finally say this… I’m running the TCS London Marathon with apple! Distance running is back in the chat. Kicked things off with an easy 8k alongside the homie Apple Fitness+ trainer @bitbeefy through London. The chats and the vibes impeccable and the route is a work of art. 👀
Squad three things I know for certain, I’ll have a good time, I’m sprinting that last 100m and I am dipping for the line. April 26th ⏳ @londonmarathon

I tried them all so you don’t have to.
Three new Hyperice models built for every type of mover. Squad, go as hard in your recovery as you do in your training. Here’s the breakdown so you can stop guessing and actually start recovering in a way that fits best.
Built for how you warm up. Built for how you recover. Built for how you move.
Which one are you?

One of the most effective and efficient conditioning protocols you may not be using.
4x4 method:
* 4 minutes high intensity
* 3 minutes active recovery
* Repeat 4 times
This builds aerobic power and overall work capacity for everything else…your strength training, sprint work and the life demands outside the gym.
Heavily researched on its effects on building VO2 Max in clinical and athlete populations.
Ideal for anyone seeking quality aerobic development without complete system breakdown. Go get that sustainable high output work without the joint impact of a long run or the nervous system fatigue of repeated sprints. This can come in clutch when time is scarce or your joints / nervous system need a day off.
Also if running isn’t on the menu right now or don’t have access to a treadmill? This works on the bike, rower, ski erg, etc. The protocol and the science is what matters.
Free game: Use it!
