Join us to celebrate and support one of the best in Drum and Bass, Teije van Vliet aka Lenzman, on Saturday 6th June.
Expect artists from across the scene coming together to show their love and respect for Lenzman and to support him and his family with his battle against cancer.
The first wave includes the full North Quarter crew as well as Flight, LSB, Workforce & GLXY, with more to be announced.
All proceeds from the event will go directly to Lenzman and his family, with all of the money from ticket sales treated as a donation to help them at this difficult time. All artists will play for free.
For those unable to make it to the event in person, there will be a ‘Non attendance’ ticket for purchase, for those who also wish to donate but cannot attend.

Endlich wieder Sommer – endlich wieder Sub Factory! Der Winterthurer Drum & Bass-Daydance geht in die vierte Runde und kehrt dafür auf’s Zeughausareal zurück.
Mit von der Partie sind die beiden Hospital-Records-Schwergewichte Flava D und Unglued, die das Vibes-Barometer an seine Kapazitätsgrenzen bringen werden. Ausserdem wäre es mittlerweile keine Sub Factory mehr, wenn nicht auch der englische Wahl-Zürcher FD die Decks übernehmen würde. Im Gepäck hat er sein zweites Studioalbum «From The Ashes». Vorher bringen euch die Eulachbass- und SECTOR B-DJs ordentlich auf Betriebstemperatur.
Neben diesen musikalischen Perlen sorgen auch in diesem Jahr wieder mehrere Food- und Getränkestände für das leibliche Wohl.

Summer is just around the corner – and that means Sub Factory is back! Winterthur’s Drum & Bass day party is entering its fourth round, returning to the Zeughausareal to kick off the sunny season.
Leading the charge are two Hospital Records heavyweights, Flava D and Unglued, who are set to push the vibe-o-meter to its absolute limit. It also wouldn’t be a true Sub Factory without Zurich-based UK don FD taking over the decks; he’ll be bringing his second studio album «From The Ashes» along for the ride. To get you in the zone, the Eulachbass and SECTOR B DJs will be handling the warm-up sets.
Beyond the musical gems, a variety of food and drink stalls will be on-site to keep you fueled and refreshed.
Disclaimer: No steel-toed boots required. In this factory, you’d better lace up your dancing shoes!

It’s no secret that it’s become harder and harder to do vinyl releases nowadays, but I really wanted to make it happen for what I feel is such an important release for me.
It’s obviously my second album and that’s a big deal and needs to be celebrated - but it’s also a big deal because of what Lenzman is going through right now, and so I’m very proud that we still managed to do this regardless of that. We needed something to commemorate this moment, and a record obviously seemed like the perfect thing.
The pressing also features every track, in its intended sequence. I wanted it to be a listening experience and a way to enjoy the whole album all the way through, as I meant it to be - and having it like this on a single piece of vinyl makes it the perfect way to do that.
I’m super happy with how it’s come out and I really hope you enjoy it and are proud to have it in your collection!

Hyped to say I was on the controls last night for none other than one like @sherelle_ in the wicked Sweatbox Mix on @bbc6music 🙏❤️
The brief was to try and replicate the vibe of a set I’d play in a small club - so I’ve gone my usual try and touch every base method - but I also decided to put in some of my favourite tunes of this year alongside some cuts from the album. Took me a couple of takes to get the pacing and the vibe just right so hope this catches you like it did me!

One week since From The Ashes is out, and I just want to say thank you. Thank you for all the lovely messages, thank you for all the amazing feedback, thank you for the overwhelming support. It’s made it all worth it and reminded me why I love this music so much.
I was really at a difficult point with making Drum & Bass - I was not interested in it at all, not interested to contribute to it anymore. And that was pretty big considering this has basically been my life and what I consider ‘my thing’ for quite a while now!
But this whole process has totally reminded me why I have to do this, why it doesn’t feel like a choice, but a necessity. I hope I can keep it going, but also know that this is the journey, and I’m going to try and be ok with wherever it takes me.
Even more importantly, I couldn’t have done it without all of the support I have around me - my super loyal and always got my back friends and family, Isabel, Teije, all my amazing colleagues in this thing, the amazing musicians who are an integral part of this project with me - @thelenzman@cronic.dnb@fox_shiddleywoi@delrokski@minx_thinx Thank you to all of you - you keep me going and make this possible and I’ll never forget it.
And also every single person who showed love, sent a message, shared stuff, bigged me or the project up. I always think it sounds a bit cliched when people say the support people show to them ‘means the world’ - but it really does - it’s given me a spark of happiness and positivity to know that what I’m doing also does something positive for others too.
