LANNA GOLD A tribute to the old Kingdom of Lanna, with Chiang Mai at its heart. Where tradition, instinct, and flavor come together in quiet harmony. This drink is inspired by Khao Niao Mamuang, Thailand’s most iconic national dessert. I spent my birthday in Chiang Mai, standing in a small open kitchen, the air thick with the scent of ripe fruit and coconut steam. What started as a simple travel plan turned into something more meaningful, a lesson in making mango sticky rice from someone who had been doing it their whole life. She didn’t measure the way we do. No jiggers, no scales. Just instinct, memory, and care. Sweet rice folded gently into coconut milk, slices of golden mango laid with intention. Back home, I wanted to translate that feeling, not just the flavor, but the moment, into a glass. This drink is my attempt to capture that memory. It’s bright yet comforting, familiar but layered, like that afternoon in Chiang Mai. The mango leads, soft and sunlit. The sticky rice milk wraps around it, warm and nostalgic. The Planteray Cut & Dry brings a creamy coconut depth that echoes the dessert itself, while the Fancy Pineapple adds a vibrant, candied lift. The OFTD anchors everything with rich toffee and caramel complexity, giving the drink its lasting finish.
