This year, we’re doing things a little different. 🌟
Instead of simply celebrating our milestone as a Black-owned and veteran-owned business, we wanted to honor just a few of MANY individuals who have truly shown up for this city.
At Kre8 Spaces, our mission has always been to create jobs, showcase talent, advocate for others, and educate our community and we found 4 incredible people doing exactly that, all across St. Louis.
Meet Our Community Honorees:
🌸
@kaymreed (Community Advocate) — Co-Founder & Executive Director of
@actionstl , Kayla has spent her life building Black political power, fighting for housing justice, voting rights, and the voices of those most overlooked in our city.
🌸
@frizzyflowers x
@huesofval (Community Job Creators) — The visionary founders of Frizzy by Nature &
@frizzfest , who turned a pavilion rental into the Midwest’s largest Black beauty festival — creating real economic opportunity for Black vendors, artists, and entrepreneurs every single year.
🌸
@falloutmorris (Community Showcaser) — A cultural connector, arts entrepreneur, and the quiet force behind some of St. Louis’ most celebrated creative platforms, from being a creative himself with the iLLPHONiCS group to the
@kranzbergarts and lifting other artists up and helping small businesses.
🌸
@keishamabry (Community Educator) — TEDx speaker, tech leader, and Director of Per Scholas STL, Keisha has built her life’s work around one belief: opportunity should never depend on your zip code.
Over the last 5 years, we have always been community over competition and on May 9th we get to show what we’ve always been about! We are better as one united community and it starts by giving flowers to those who do the work and in rooms like this. 💛
If you agree, drop a 🌸 below and help us celebrate these amazing individuals!
