Custom alphabet for @reuni.officiel
Designed to match their logo (by @baptiste_mood ), this custom alphabet was made for a pop-up event at Le Bon Marché in Paris, where customers would be able to get their knitwear customized to become a real one-of-a-kind creation. The letters were crafted into small individual tags, that the team would discreetly embroider into the hem or cuff of the knitwear.

Faire Type is a Brooklyn-based type foundry working at the intersection of graphic design and type design. Run by husband-and-wife duo Maxime and Sabrina, their catalog merges aesthetics and functionality through versatile text and display typefaces, expansive character sets, and custom emoji.
10 × 10 is a collaborative poster project celebrating the first 10 years of Bardo.
For Drop 04, Faire Type approaches “together” through duality. Sabrina is American, Maxime is French—and in a stroke of luck, together and ensemble share the same eight-letter structure.
Working within the poster’s predefined grid, they explored how the two words could interlock and coexist—two languages occupying the same framework, distinct yet inseparable.
Like Bardo, their foundry is built on partnership: this poster became not only a collaboration between the two of them, but also with Bardo—refined through conversation with Laura and Roberto to align closely with the spirit of the series.
As a final gesture, two greyhounds run across the composition. Inspired by their Italian greyhound Finn—the foundry’s mascot—the dogs nod to companionship and pack instinct. Two figures moving side by side: one for Sabrina and Maxime, or perhaps one for Faire Type and one for Bardo.
A tribute to connection, and to the beautiful things that happen when we make something together.

Print Sans is the newest addition to our Print Collection, a type collection with a serif, a script, and now a sans-serif all defined by pointed pen calligraphic logic but made to work in contemporary design. There are 9 subfamilies, 3 optical sizes, 8 weights and 84 styles in total allowing for tons of different possibilities for robust typographic systems.

Print Sans is shaped by the same calligraphic logic and letterform proportions that define the rest of the type in our Print Collection. Drawn alongside its serif and script counterparts, Print Sans translates the contrast, proportions, and rhythm of Print into a clean, confident sans, balancing warmth with precision.
The family spans a full weight range from Hairline to Black and its optical size axis shifts the typeface from low to high contrast.

Print & Print Script are two new typefaces in our catalog that explore the intersection of calligraphic tradition and typographic structure.
Print Script is loosely based on copperplate calligraphy, but deliberately moves away from replicating the style in its purest form. Print complements the script with proportions that are flexible for both text and display. The relationship between the two families creates a cohesive system: Print provides clarity and structure, while Print Script offers ornament and expression.

Visual identity designed for the exhibition by Kent Monkman, an internationally acclaimed artist and member of the ôcêkwi sîpiy (Fisher River Cree Nation), known for his bold reinterpretations of history painting. Bringing together over forty monumental works, the exhibition explores the complexity of Indigenous experiences through themes such as colonization, climate crisis, and 2ELGBTQIA+ representation. The identity blends royal and contemporary aesthetics, while the Octave typeface embodies the tension between heritage and renewal, lending the whole a lyrical and timeless presence.

Print is a slightly condensed serif typeface shaped by the rhythm of the pointed pen. Drawn alongside its companion script, Print Script, Print balances gentle round curves with crisp, straight digital lines, creating a serif that feels both warm and precise.
The family spans a full weight range from Hairline to Black, with an optical size axis that allows it to adapt seamlessly across contexts. The optical size axis produces three sub families: Print, Print Text, and Print Slab.
Designed in dialogue with Print Script, Print provides the grounding counterpart to its flourished sibling — the perfect pairing of structure and ornament. But Print also stands firmly on its own, equally at home in editorial design, branding, and identity systems.

A little background: Print Script is a connected script typeface family rooted in the elegance of copperplate calligraphy and reimagined through a digital lens. Each letterform explores the expressive rhythm of hand-drawn script while using crisp digital lines and precisely engineered curves to give the typeface a contemporary edge.
The typeface spans two variable axes: weight (Hairline to Black) and optical size (Display to Slab). An OpenType feature allows the script to toggle between connected (default) and unconnected forms, offering flexibility in tone and texture. A rich number of ligatures, capital and lowercase swashes, and alternate characters are available to enable expressive, flourished compositions that echo the embellishments of traditional calligraphy.
