My brain is completely smooth since newly adapting to parenthood but 10 years ago I married my husband who is the coolest and the cutest and boy do I love him so much and my parents are in town so we can go on a real goddamn date tonight for the first time since this new tiny human entered our lives and you know what time really does fly when you’re having fun. Rosemary Duggan Kovach arrived a week after her due date on August 11, 2025 at 10:24pm. I can confirm that since I cooked this baby for 9+ months and then somehow got her out of me that I am indeed a witch and that magic is real and I continue to be astounded that she was growing inside of me the entire time.
Nothing could have prepared me for the first two weeks of Rosie’s life. Everyone who has birthed a smol human before me: I am TOTALLY in awe of you. The entire time I was pregnant @mr_ryanduggan and I couldn’t believe that THIS IS THE WAY WE ALL GOT HERE?!? AND IT’S THE BEST SYSTEM WE HAVE? And I can’t stop looking around and thinking about how everyone was once a tiny baby 😭 And that I made one? And that she’s going to be a whole person one day and thinking about the scope of that has already changed my entire life.
Now that I seem to have moved past the daily (hourly?) weepies, I can confidently say that we have the most beautiful baby and there is no one else I would want to go on this journey with other than @mr_ryanduggan . I just, like, really like him. ❤️

Your favorite cranky salty tired Chicago screen printer here. Currently 7 months pregnant & have about 4 fully scheduled weeks of work ahead of me and then I’M GOING ON MATERNITY LEAVE. I do not believe I will be accepting any print work (besides from my husband/partner @mr_ryanduggan ) until early 2026.
PLEASE DON’T FORGET ME, I WILL RETURN.
I just want the opportunity to spend some time with the smol new human who will enter the world in 2 months.
Having a labor job while being pregnant is NO JOKE. Respect to all who did this before me, I been worn out & I need to prioritize rest.
