We're launching it today with a small exhibition of student proposals pushing how far the Art Department building at Kielce University can be flipped differently. Fair Building Studio × Nairobi Design Week: Part 2: Workshop Brick by Brick: Designing Climate-Responsive Modules How can a simple brick respond to climate? In this hands-on workshop, participants will create a parametric brick model in Rhino/Grasshopper, exploring how geometry can improve airflow, shading, and thermal performance in Nairobi’s climate. The session connects digital design with the human role in shaping more climate-responsive architecture. Participants are asked to bring their own laptop. We’re heading to Nairobi Design Week 🌍 This year’s theme “Let's Humans” is a good reminder that design is not only about objects, images, or buildings - it’s about people. And that putting humans back at the center of architecture can also help us build in ways that are more responsible toward nature and climate. 💥 Here it is—our first (but hopefully not last 😉) individual exhibition! We were thrilled when Natalia Legutko, the curator of the @gaspkrk , invited us to have a solo show. Here’s a video from the opening, which gathered quite a crowd 💛 including Poland’s Minister of Culture, Hanna Wróblewska, and the rector of the Academy of Fine Arts, Andrzej Bednarczyk. 🗓️ The exhibition will be on display until December 1, 2024, and we’re planning to share guided tour reels! 🎥 @sewimedia
