Following the success of Reputation (2024), now available on Amazon and Apple, @wlv_film lecturer Martin Law (@factorynoir ) has begun production on his latest feature, ‘Asphyxia’
Students from BA (Hons) Film Production and MA Film programmes have been involved as trainees throughout the shoot, taking on a range of trainee roles and gaining invaluable on-set experience of a professional film crew.
Our students have absolutely loved it and planning their own short films over the summer

So proud of what we accomplished in just 11 days with an incredible cast and crew who brought so much talent, passion and grit to every moment.
At the centre of it all is a powerhouse performance from lead actress Genevieve Chenneour. Intense, fearless and emotionally raw in a role that demanded so much.
Very grateful to everyone who helped bring this independent feature film to life. Filmed on location in Halton, Lancashire at @supremeescapes Hermitage House.
