Midnight Taxi was the first ever feature film I scored, and was so unbelievably lucky that my totally cold-call email got through and caught the attention of the directors Samantha and Bertie Spiers - @littlenipperproductions . They liked my work on my Dark Future and other solo releases enough to schedule a call and see if my vision for the film aligned with theirs, and it did! 🥳 This thriller was so much fun to work on and gave me the grand opportunity to explore soundscapes blending acoustic and electronic instruments; everything from bowed marimba (a personal fave!) to plucky synths, distorted guitars to subtle strings. The score, which incidentally is 1 year old today, is available to stream on all good streaming and download services, and Midnight Taxi is available on all good VOD services! 🎬🎵

A clip taken from IMPLOSION, an upcoming short film I feel very honoured to have scored. Dark, full of tension, and very powerful. The blend of orchestral score, heavy rock guitars, and pounding electronic drums and percussion directly correlates with the emotional depth of the film, tackling huge subjects including mental health. @tobysebastian1 played a stunning lead role!
'The film portrays a stream of consciousness into the abyss of the main characters psyche, which is torn between two opposing aspects; one that is fighting to keep hope about the future alive, and the other that is overcome with sadness and tormented by demons of the past.'
