A Farewell to Factory 15💔 Over the past three and a half years, we’ve hosted more than a thousand events and welcomed tens of thousands of you - dancers, creators and connectors, through our doors. It’s been a wild ride, one built to bring arts, culture and good times to Barking & Dagenham, a borough painfully short on cultural spaces, but home to a community who really know how to bring it on the floor. Trust. As unforgettable as it’s been, it’s also been incredibly tough. The continued rise in business rates, operational costs and inflation have created a landscape where culture and community can’t compete. Across the UK, independent venues and night time spaces are closing at an alarming rate. Despite soldiering on with swelling hearts and gritted teeth…you got us in the end. We’ll close our doors one final time at the end of this month. We’ve loved every minute and are endlessly grateful to everyone who’s supported us - our team (special shout out to Ayo @callmeayoba and Rob @r.shads1 ), promoters, artists and every single person who danced, created and celebrated here with us.  Come through to see us for one last Strawberry Slap (IYKYK) this month for our last few events which are on the website. You’ll still find @makeitlondon doing our thing, providing accessible workspace for the creative industries - we’re not going anywhere. Thank you for being part of Factory 15’s story💫

@yshraquel , East London’s elusive songstress will be gracing the stage at our End of Year Showcase on the 22ND November. We’ve been fans for a long time so this one’s extra special 🙏🏾❤️ Ayeisha Raquel, a singer-songwriter of Filipino-Ugandan heritage, doesn’t just make music, music lives in her. Her songs are borne of her own personal journey, she distills her experiences of the pains of love, sensuality, and intimacy into music that moves the soul. Her voice coupled with the backdrop of exceptional production on any song means she is not genre bound. From neosoul and RnB to songs that are more experimental, she is always able to take us to new and exciting places sonically while always making us feel like you’re at home. Having opened for Che Lingo, Demae, Qhairo, Lex Amor, Meron T, and we know that she is able to capture a crowd, and her incredible vocals have blessed songs by EMIL, Mick Jenkins, Bawo, nikhil, Hagan, Lex Amor, ENNY, Knucks and A2. Ayeisha is steadily growing after her hiatus, capturing her audience with her dulcet vocals and authenticity permeating her songwriting. Come and experience her for yourself on the 22nd of November and Factory 15 in Barking, she isn’t one you want to miss.

November 22nd…we’re back. And this one is all about UK R&B, so of course we had to call in our family at @rnbrit . We’re closing the year with two special live performances, backed by @g4.productionz and friends bringing the soul, depth and musicality. An evening for community, conversation and connection, a space to gather and really explore the question: What is UK R&B? We want to hear your voice in this. Come through, celebrate, listen and tap into the culture. Tickets are live now in bio Special thanks to the @prsfoundation for supporting our journey 🔊
