Still riding the high from our participation in last weekend's Royal Lepage Snow to Surf. Our biggest competition is our own past stats, but naturally, we also love bringing home hardware. Thrilled to earn Silver in our category and land 24/140 teams overall. A massive thank you to the organizers and volunteers for another awesome race day.

Architectural details for days. The cohesion in this home is seamless— the warm wood of the mantel carries into the glass-railed staircase and custom cabinetry. The arched laundry entry mimics those in the primary bathroom. We love how the micro-cement fireplace draws the eye upward. Stretching floor-to-ceiling, it provides a raw, tactile contrast to the warmth of the surrounding wood details. Perfect balance.

The mix of dark cladding and warm wood on this Comox gem creates a striking horizontal profile. We shared a look at the kitchen & bath of this house back in the fall, but the exterior deserves its own moment. Soft ornamental grasses break up the sharp geometry of the architecture & bold concrete pavers—it keeps the modern aesthetic feeling approachable. Balance between clean lines and organic textures.

October was 'renovation month' in building world. We took on some really special renovations over the past year but all our award nominations trace back to one standout project — a renovation that pushed our team to deliver at the highest level.
