We approach hospitality projects with a look at the unique responsibility we’ve been trusted with to design hotel lobbies and guest rooms.
A responsibility to:
• To create an inviting atmosphere where guests want to come back to.
• To create an experience through materials and details for a lasting impression.
• To use materials engineered for the hospitality environment… families, work crews, sports teams and everything in between.
• To select fabrics and finishes that make room turnovers more efficient and effective for housekeeping.
• To introduce local artistic talent.
• To showcase the natural beauty of the hotel’s location within the design details
For our latest hospitality project, we knew artwork prints from @christinaclarkeartist and @millikenfloorsbc latest carpet tile collection would meet all those responsibilities.

We love supporting young artists and our local community, so when @magdajohnsonfineart approached us about showcasing student artwork from @aspengroveschool in our gallery space it was an instant yes! These pieces are on display at our studio for another couple weeks, so please come check them out. They are all up for auction with the fundraiser going towards supporting the students’ STEAM program! Link in bio if you wish to make a bid!

Today marked a huge step forward for @islandkidsfirst and their home away from home, Jesse’s House, being built on the Nanaimo Hospital Foundation campus. We have been immensely honoured to be the interior design consultant on this project and support a community cause so close to everyone’s heart.
Sometimes we get extra special site visits, and this one for a client building remotely amongst the chain of Discovery Islands was filled with incredible #pnw beauty. Cabinetry layouts, electrical placement and confirmation on window functionality was covered for a highly productive day on site!
