After a bit of drab, damp day, seeing these sculptures rise into place brightened everything up 🌧️🦋✨ Three of the four pieces from Flutter are now installed along Thickson Road between Nichol Avenue and Dundas Street East — with the final installation still to come, so stay tuned 👀 Flutter is a series of four elevated steel sculptures that captures clusters of monarch butterflies mid-motion, shifting between fully formed figures and dissolving wing shapes that create a visual flow between representation and fluid geometry. Fabricated from corten and stainless steel, the forms appear to flutter and flow against the surrounding urban environment.
