Allow me to reintroduce myself.
I don’t show myself on the feed too often but it’s important to come out from behind the camera every once in a while.
Spring is in the air and I’m excited to be all over the place with @maverick.media.collective . I’m so thankful to have this career. No two days are the same. Sometimes I think of myself as a professional multitasker instead of having a niche. As creators we are told we need that to be successful. I capture in the fields I’m most passionate about and I hope it shows in what I create. Music is a huge part of my life and when I’m not capturing it I’m performing it. Don’t even get me started on my love for the ocean or riding in the woods.
Thanks for coming along for the journey! The comments, the messages and the opportunities mean more than you know. I don’t always post everything on here but check out the website link in my bio or my music account if that’s your thing!

Working as a freelance artist is the best and the worst all at the same time. The good? You get to do what you love for a living, you almost always look forward to going to work and every day is different. The bad? You never really know what your calendar will look like, and it’s a hard balance of what to say yes or no to when it’s busy because you often need to take it when you can get it.
Having support in the times when you’re off as well as the times when you’re out every night and weekend is huge. And honestly something I used to shy away from.
But I can’t tell you how lucky I am to have @kwhittaker.xo by my side as I learn to navigate this career. From driving to Port Hope to see a musical, Barrie to hear me sing the Anthem or “I’ll wake you up if you fall asleep on the couch” after a long night of editing.
Love you ❤️
Another surf trip in the books. Being in the water is one of the most peaceful places for me. I got hooked on surf photography back at home in Ontario, Canada and it’s a different challenge up there. Smaller waves but freezing temperatures, tough to find position and also get the shot while keeping the feeling in your fingers.
Whenever I travel down south it’s a new challenge. More surfers in the water, longer hold downs, learning new waves/currents and often jumping in the water not knowing anyone in the lineup. I’ve had the opportunity to explore some pretty iconic spots from Waimea and Sunset to Lowers, T Street and Steamer’s Lane.
Regardless of location, I’m so thankful for the surf community. Meeting new people, conversations out in the water and pushing myself.
Thanks California! You always feel like a second home and I’ll be back as soon as I can.

Legally Blonde is one of my favourite shows to play and even though I’ll be in the pit playing keys, I was luckily enough to be behind the camera to capture some of the on-stage action before I tuck away with the band.
Here’s a glimpse of what’s to come!

Anne & Gilbert captured for @bravo_academy
I started performing with Bravo when I was 16 and theatre has taken me so many places. It’s help me find the career I have today. Capturing talented young performers is always a joy and both these casts did an incredible job. It brought back memories of playing Gilbert when I was in grade 12.
I still love to sing over at @i.am.sam.music
Had a magical trip with @kwhittaker.xo in NYC. In true New York fashion it was filled with music, art, theatre, cocktails, food and midday naps after long walks.
It was a busy week and a half in Bermuda but on my off days I walked around with my faithful Nikon FA and captured some of the colour I had been missing back home. I’ll never pass up a walk to the ocean!
