Our intervention is titled ‘We Rest At the Birds Nest’
_
The project is lead by @papaomotayo and @evennaji for @moeaa.feed@add_apt and is situated in Industrial Area 5, Sharjah, UAE
_
The intervention uses waste vegetation, paper, card and other materials to create a place to nest for the existing bird ecology as well as a place to rest for the migrant workers in the area, currently tendering birds in makeshift aviaries.

‘We Rest At The Birds Nest’ is an olive branch, a space to connect human and non human life in the midst of the machine.

This was a truly blessed process from our first visit in September 2022 to creating a new material language. Our deepest gratitude goes out to @tosin.oshinowo@hooralq Mona Elmousfy, @mattmaganga , Raghad AlAli, Tamara Barrage.
