𝐓𝐞𝐧𝐬𝐞𝐝 𝐏𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐁𝐞𝐭𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐓𝐢𝐦𝐞𝐬 comes from a state of mind she’s been in lately. It reflects her overall thoughts on the gaps around her and the wider context shaping her identity.
This mix drifts between bass, deconstructed percussion, reggaeton and some ballroom moments.
YCS is a Bucharest based DJ who explores the cultural aspects of music in relation to new club styles, performance and club politics. Haunting bouncy beats are central to her sound, alongside the Latin club spectrum. She is active in the ballroom scene where performance and self-expression intersect and she draws from that experience to shape her approach to the dancefloor. Her sets twist textures, bouncing between dembow and layered breaks, serving dark, pulsing flows. Over the years, YCS has played at key underground venues and parties, carving out spaces and maintaining a deep care for the dancefloor.
