I had a wonderful opportunity to work as a design director on the Beymen and Depo Film documentary "Golden Opulence: 500 Years of Luxury in Anatolia." I was lucky enough to collaborate with the great people at Depo Film and work alongside a group of talented, long-time friends! The documentary explores the essence of luxury through craftsmanship, emphasizing that true luxury is derived from the extensive dedication and skillful craftsmanship invested by a master over time. Throughout the title sequence, we convey the idea that luxury isn't just about the final product — it's about the journey, the passion, and the relentless pursuit of perfection. The sequence features the evolution of patterns, beginning with the iconic Çintemani, and gradually incorporating various other motifs. Carrying the same trace, these patterns build up over time, change shape, and transform into something new. Wave Rock and Uluru, shaped over time by natural forces, guided our design. We aimed to create stylized forms that reflect the water-shaped look of these famous landmarks.
