“A Portrait of War” My final university project, exploring facial prosthetics from WW1, which were worn by injured soldiers to reconstruct their faces. It follows a young WW1 soldier Thomas Alfred Penney 1-year post battle getting ready for the day whilst being reminded of the events he experienced. Taking inspiration from a box of WWII artifacts found in my home belonging to my great grandfather.
