From Mal To You!
At last I can share the wonderful news that I’ve the great honour of playing the legendary Mal Evans in the upcoming @thebeatles films.
As a massive Beatles fan this really is a dream come true and to get an opportunity to portray such an icon and do his memory proud.
I love you Mal, here’s to single-handedly picking up ‘the coffin’ and being the best maker of beans on toast on the planet.

It’s a very long story but I’d like you all to meet my sister. Nicole Clare Allman Gill. She died in 1992. I’m so proud to call her my sister but stunned with grief to have lost her before I even knew her. Glad and sorry. Happy and sad. I’d have made one hell of a brother Nicole I promise. I swear I’ll tell your story until there’s no life left inside me. I love you.

I often wish that I had spoken to him more, even though he bestowed many stories upon me as a child and that I made more of an effort to learn German and connect with my roots.
He saw such historical events as a young Berliner, I only wish I’d have been more curious.

Watched the sunset over Istanbul tonight from a lofty perch, then had another peak at the Blue Mosque at night before basking before the historical might of the Serpentine Column; which might not look like much but dates from 479BCE to celebrate the Greek City States defeat of the mighty Persians.
Forged from Persian weapons and originally located at the sublime Delphi in Greece, Emperor Constantine then moved it to Constantinople in 324AD where it has remained since, missing its serpent’s heads since the 1700s.
